The most essential features of the whole planning process are the invitation to the event. Make sure the first invitation you send must not be too early that people will forget the day of the event due to their busy schedule or too late that they will be already be committed with someone else. Two or three weeks before is the ideal time. But if the event is for managers and executives try to send a little before.
